In a strange turn of events, The New York Daily Paper reported that feminists in Britain are outraged that a transgender pedophile was charged and convicted as a woman.
The man identifies as a woman even though he committed the offenses while he was still a man.
Feminists challenged the court's decision to prosecute the man as a woman, but were rebuffed by the Sussex police who issued this statement:
"Sussex police will not tolerate hateful comments about their gender identities, regardless of the crimes committed. This is irrelevant to the crime that was committed and investigated."
Maya Forstater, who won a previous court decision protecting "gender-critical" speech, said:
“It’s not ‘hateful’ or criminal to call someone a man a man. It’s a simple factual statement."
“The pedophile who committed these crimes, like 98% of those who commit sex crimes, were and will remain male."
“The justice system needs to be overhauled from police to courts and prisons to record sex and speak truth.”
The man was charged with 30 offenses against two boys and five girls from 1989-1996. The crimes went unpunished until one of the victims came forward in 2019.
He is serving an 18-year sentence in a woman's prison because he was never issued a legally binding Gender Recognition Certificate.
