From the Socialist Republic of California

San Francisco has launched The Guaranteed Income for Trans People program that will pay low-income transgender residents $1,200 monthly for up to 18 months. This is really no different than Biden's plan to pay off student debt. It's basically a taxpayer funded kickback to the voter base of the Democrat Party. 

Mayor London Breed said:

“Our Guaranteed Income Programs allow us to help our residents when they need it most as part of our city’s economic recovery and our commitment to creating a more just city for all."

A just city for all is simply another way of promoting the Democrat agenda of imposed equity. There is a difference between the American ideal of equality and the socialist concept of equity. 

A big difference. 

Equality means that everyone is treated the same. Equity suggests that targeted segments of the citizenry receive special favor from the government. Of course, it almost always requires a transfer of wealth from those who produce to those who do not. 

That is pretty much the definition of socialism. 

The mayor even said that this program differed from the typical social safety net programs because it was a direct cash payment without limitations. 

In other news ...  

San Francisco has 'fired' Elections Commission director John Arntz because he is white. Though he has been recognized for outstanding job performance, the commission decided to "open a competitive search in accordance with the city's plan to achieve racial equity." 

Here, again, is another example of Democrats attempting to impose the socialist concept of equity. 

Commission member Cynthia Dai said:

"It's hard to achieve diversity targets if senior roles never open up. This has nothing to do with his performance."

So, the director is not being let go for cause, but simply because he is a white male. How is this even legal under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964? 

Democrats rail against Republicans for not respecting the law when it is THEY who are in contempt of statutes and ordinances that impede their socialist agenda. 

Which is why they hate the Constitution and want to stack the Supreme Court. Supervisor Aaron Peskin called the commission's decision "malfeasance." 

Dai said that Arntz could reapply for the job but he would have to compete with other applicants. Surprisingly, the Democrat Mayor London Breed stood up for Arntz:

"John Arntz has served San Francisco with integrity, professionalism and has stayed completely independent. He's remained impartial and has avoided getting caught up in the web of city politics, which is what we are seeing now as a result of this unnecessary decision."

California banned Affirmative Action in 1996 so this ruling violates state law as well. Dai followed up by saying if Arntz is the most qualified, he will get the job. We can't imagine that anyone would be more qualified unless, of course, they are a person of color or different gender.
