Mamdani's record:
- Raided retiree fund to "balance" budget
- Zero “fast and free” buses
- Spending $55M on 1 gov grocery store
- Subway violence up 300%
This is what socialists call success. pic.twitter.com/97dWvGqa8W
Mamdani has allocated $70 million to build five city-owned grocery stores in New York City. The first store is slated to cost $30 million dollars plus an additional $25 million for site improvement.
The national average cost for building a grocery store is in the range of $6 million to $12 million. Further proof that government can do nothing as well, or cost effective, as the free market.
